Join SFL and students from all over the world on October 30th at 8pm ET for a webinar discussion led by Mark Henderson, author of The Soul of Atlas, on reconciling the seemingly irreconcilable philosophies of Objectivism and Christianity.

From the Event Website:

Raised by a devoutly Christian father and devoutly Objectivist stepfather, much of Mark Henderson’s life has been devoted to reconciling the disparate philosophies of the two people who influenced him most. It is widely considered that The Holy Bible and Atlas Shrugged are the two most influential books of all time, but it seems absurd to think that one could find common ground between the followers of Jesus and the followers of Ayn Rand, a militant atheist who aspired to be known as “the greatest enemy of religion.” However, in Henderson’s novel The Soul of Atlas: Ayn Rand, Christianity, a Quest for Common Ground, he does just that. Join us the evening of October 30 to hear his case for the importance of building bridges between secular libertarians and conservative Christians and how achieving unity could help solve the biggest problems facing the nation.
